Human rights policy & occupational safety & health policy

We recognize that human resources are an important foundation that underpins the growth potential and sustainability of our business activities, and with the belief that the human rights of all people involved in our business activities, not only those of our own employees, should be respected, we are promoting efforts to develop human resources, create systems that facilitate work, and respect human rights.

PRONEXUS Group Human Rights Policy

As a company specializing in disclosure and IR support, the PRONEXUS Group understands that the human rights of all people affected by its business activities must be respected, and it will make every effort to protect and respect the dignity of these people.Companies have a responsibility to respect human rights, which means that they must not violate human rights.We aim to reduce the direct and indirect risks and negative impacts of our business activities, and promote human rights while developing our own business.

1.Basic approach

The PRONEXUS Group recognizes that respect for human rights is an important social responsibility for a company, and is committed to respecting human rights in order to fulfill its responsibilities to all stakeholders.To this end, we support and respect international norms related to human rights, such as the United Nations International Bill of Human Rights (Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Covenants on Human Rights), the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and treaties, etc. related to workers’ human rights, such as those concerning wages and working hours.Furthermore, in addition to supporting the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact as a signatory company, we also support the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and we will continue to implement initiatives based on these principles.

2.Scope of application

This policy applies to all officers and employees of the PRONEXUS Group, including domestic and overseas subsidiaries, non-regular employees, and temporary employees.Furthermore, we emphasize the importance of the value chain in human rights issues, expect all business partners of the PRONEXUS Group to support and understand this policy, and will fulfill our responsibility to respect human rights through dialogue and collaboration.

3.Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

We will comply with the laws and regulations of each country or region in which the PRONEXUS Group conducts business activities.In cases where there is a conflict between internationally recognized human rights and the laws and regulations of individual countries, we will pursue ways to maximize respect for international human rights principles.

4.Human rights due diligence

The PRONEXUS Group will refer to the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights to establish a human rights due diligence system and implement it on an ongoing basis.Through this human rights due diligence, we will identify negative impacts on human rights and take steps to prevent and mitigate them.

5.Relief

If it is found that the PRONEXUS Group has caused or been involved in a negative impact on human rights, we will work to provide relief through appropriate procedures.
The PRONEXUS Group will establish a reporting contact point for any employee who becomes aware of or suspects that there is a possibility of violating the laws and regulations applicable to each business location or country, or the Human Rights Policy.We will not subject employees who reported incidents or any other related parties to any disadvantageous treatment.We believe that this will increase the transparency of the business activities of the PRONEXUS Group, enable the early detection of and response to risks, and strengthen mutual trust with stakeholders.

6.Education and training

The PRONEXUS Group will provide all officers and employees, etc. with sufficient education so that this policy is incorporated into and established throughout all business activities, and also so that this policy is understood and implemented effectively.

7.Dialogue with stakeholders

The PRONEXUS Group will utilize independent, external human rights expertise and engage in dialogue with relevant stakeholders regarding its response to potential and actual negative impacts on human rights.

8.Person in charge

The Board of Directors will oversee efforts to respect human rights, and the person in charge of the human resources department is responsible for their implementation.

9.Disclosure of information

The PRONEXUS Group will disclose information on its progress and results in its efforts to respect human rights on its website and elsewhere.

Efforts to address individual issues

Child labor, forced labor, human trafficking, modern slavery

The PRONEXUS Group does not tolerate any form of modern slavery, including child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking.Furthermore, we also require our domestic and overseas suppliers and partners to prohibit child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking.

Discrimination and harassment

The PRONEXUS Group does not discriminate in any way on the basis of age, skin color, ability, education, career, ethnicity, race, gender, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, pregnancy/childbirth, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, physical characteristics, disability, employment status, lifestyle, values, etc.In addition, we do not tolerate any form of harassment in any way, including sexual harassment, power harassment, maternity harassment, and harassment related to sexual orientation or gender identity.

Diversity, equity & inclusion

The PRONEXUS Group promotes “diversity,” in which diverse human resources acknowledge and respect each other’s differences in attributes and values, and “equity,” in which we pursue fairness in providing opportunities, and furthermore, by making the most of the abilities of diverse human resources and elevating each other, we turn differences into the driving force for change through “diversity, equity and inclusion.”To this end, we will create a workplace with a high level of psychological safety where the human rights of each individual are respected and people can speak and act with peace of mind through a sense of mutual respect for each other and tireless dialogue.

Right to collective bargaining and freedom of association

The PRONEXUS Group respects the right to participate in collective bargaining and freedom of association in accordance with the laws and rules applicable in each country.

Working hours, minimum wage, equal pay for equal work, welfare benefits

The PRONEXUS Group will strive to ensure employee welfare by appropriately managing employees’ working hours, holidays, vacations, and wages in accordance with the laws and regulations applicable in each country.

PRONEXUS Group Safety and Health Policy

The PRONEXUS Group considers it to be our corporate social responsibility to ensure the safety and health of all people working in the Group, based on our social and environmental action standards for respecting human rights and human resources, and we recognize this as one of the most important issues in conducting our business activities.
Furthermore, we have established the following policy based on the belief that ensuring that each and every employee is healthy in body and mind, able to demonstrate their abilities to the fullest, and able to play an active role will lead to the sustained growth and improved productivity of the Company.

  1. We will give consideration to ensuring workplace safety and health, and will work to prevent accidents, disasters and illness, while also supporting the health of employees through health promotion activities and guidance for prevention of illness.
  2. We will protect the right to safe and healthy work, and provide a safe and comfortable working environment for both body and mind.
  3. We aim to accurately track working hours, curb long working hours, and encourage the use of paid leave, so that work is carried out in a well-balanced manner.
  4. We will comply with laws and regulations and strive to prevent injuries and illnesses arising from work.
  5. In order to lead health and safety initiatives across the entire PRONEXUS Group, the President and Representative Director serves as the person in charge of health management, and the company, employees, occupational physicians, and health insurance association will work together to maintain and promote health.
  6. We will appropriately manage health and safety risks and ensure the safe storage and use of hazardous materials.
  7. With the highest priority given to ensuring the safety of employees’ lives and physical well-being, and in order to fulfill our social responsibilities to our stakeholders, we have established and will periodically review measures to address various natural disasters, including large-scale earthquakes and storm and flood damage.
