Policy

We established the Social & Environmental Code of Conduct based on the new management philosophy to enhance the growth potential and sustainability of PRONEXUS

In December 2020, we revamped our management philosophy to mark our 90th anniversary since our founding.
Guided by our mission of contributing to the sustainable development of society and the economy as a professional service provider supporting information communication and documentation services, we established five values that we must pursue and demonstrate in order to realize this mission.

  1. PROfessionalism
We provide specialized services to support our clients’ businesses
  2. PROper conduct
We offer optimal services in a proper manner
  3. PROmpt response
We immediately respond to clients’ needs
  4. PROgress
    We create innovative services
  5. PRO-social behavior
We work to be a valuable part of our community

Of the above, “PRO-social behavior” was newly established as part of the revamping of our management philosophy.
We have long held the perspective of contributing to society through our business activities, but now we have formalized this as part of our management philosophy and redefined it as a core value that PRONEXUS pursues.

As we conduct our business activities, we have established the Social & Environmental Code of Conduct to articulate specific guidelines for our actions toward society.

  1. Comply with the law and protect confidential information (Most important conduct underpinning our business)
This is the most important concept underpinning our business and integral to our corporate culture.
To ensure the widespread adoption and thorough implementation of this conduct, we place emphasis on education and construct information systems that can ensure high-level security.
  2. Conduct fair and transparent business dealings (Impartial information disclosure and policy on antisocial forces)
We consistently aim to be fair and just toward our clients, shareholders, investors, trading partners, employees, and society at large, while placing emphasis on communication and conducting appropriate information disclosure. We also take a firm stance against anti-social forces.
  3. Respect human rights and value human resources (Respecting human rights and human resources inside and outside the PRONEXUS Group, and occupational health and safety)
We respect the human rights and individuality of each employee, both inside and outside the PRONEXUS Group.Furthermore, we strive to support the growth of our employees, who are valuable assets to PRONEXUS, and work diligently to provide a safe and healthy work environment where they can thrive.
  4. Protect the environment and contribute to society (Environmental conservation measures, disaster recovery assistance, and social cultural contributions)
As a corporate citizen, we value resources, engage in environmental initiatives such as recycling, provide disaster recovery assistance, and contribute to social and cultural efforts.
  5. Promote sound corporate governance (Pursuit of optimal corporate governance to enhance corporate value)
We focus on effectiveness in our constant efforts to improve our system of management administration, working to realize sustainable growth. We work on enhancing the monitoring and checking functions of management activities, increasing transparency, and rigorously enforcing compliance and risk management.

This code of conduct equips us with the ability to respond to the increasing social demands for ESG issues and continuous information disclosure.

By advancing business activities based on the management philosophy and code of conduct, PRONEXUS will enhance both its growth potential and the sustainability of its operations.
